Tauhara Geothermal System
The Hapu of Tauhara are the collective owners of the Tauhara geothermal resource. This is a fundamental and guiding principle which must underlie any development of the Tauhara Resource.

Its a good time to take stock of developments on this issue. The Tauhara Hapu position has been taken up by the Tauhara Hapu delegates who have a mandate to represent the Tauhara Hapu in relation to the Settlement of Comprehensive Treaty Claims.
